Adoption of JK’s UVGI in Kazakhstan

In it’s 20 year history in the field of food production, distribution and care for the common well-being of society, the Prima Food Factory LLC has played a significant role in the business and evolution of Kazakhstan with annual revenue of 330 million US dollars.

The adoption of JKs UVC products meets Primas values which are development of new ideas and up to date technology to continue to be a pioneer and one of the leaders in food and non food industry, assurance of highest quality and standards of food process, and creation of green, safe and sustainable environment and implementation of ESG in all of business activities.

The UVGI (ultraviolet germicidal irradiation) has been used for disinfection for more than a century. Its proved features of non thermal, chemical free, high effectiveness against a wide spectrum of pathogens and low maintenance are advocated as the most feasible and cost-effective tool and weapon to destroy the viruses, bacteria and fungi in air, on surface and in water to improve the indoor air quality, to keep environments clean and healthy and to enhance the safe production and our daily life.

Two UVC technologies of JK are used in Primas new factory, the electrodeless induction UVC lamp emitting 253.7nm and far UVC lamp emitting 222nm.

Environmental (E)

The UVGI is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional cleaning chemicals, reducing reliance on environmentally harmful chemicals.By eliminating the need for chemicals, UVGI helps reduce the amount of toxic waste, containers, and single-use materials produced.

Society(S)

UVGI can effectively eliminate pathogens in environments especially in food process factories, enhancing the safety of food, operators, employees and visitors.

UVGI can improve air quality by reducing bacteria and viruses and eliminating sick leave, thereby contributing to the creation of a healthier environment.

Governance (G)

Enterprises that utilize UVC technology can demonstrate their commitment to sustainable practices and compliance with environmental regulations.

The adoption of sustainable technologies, such as UVC, can be communicated to stakeholders, showcasing the company's dedication to responsible practices.

The UVC induction lamp technology uses the electromagnet technology to eliminate the traditional electrode to drive the lamp to achieve the lifespan of 60 thousand hours, meaning no lamp replacement and disposal in 5 years, reducing the burden of waste and stressful regular or annual lamp replacement and handling professions.

The far UVC lamp technology is a break-through and cutting-edge technology which provides the real-time and continuous disinfection with human presence, significantly reducing the risk of the air-borne and surface-borne transmission of pathogens.

In the project of Prima, the UVC induction lamp technology is used to disinfect at night when no operator is present and the far UVC lamp technology is used during operation. The combination of the two UVC technologies provides a complete around-clock sanitization of the food production and administration area and reflects the Primas core value of always maintaining the safety of food, the health of employees and full implementation of ESG to keep the operation and the worlds environment sustainable.

JKUVC is a evidence and science driven manufacturer, supplying various high quality UVGI to meet the rigorous standards of industries such as food production, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, ambulance services and to creatively develop tailored solutions that tackle long-standing disinfection challenges to safeguard and improve our communities to be greener, safer and more sustainable.
